Andy Gullahorn’s new CD “Reinventing the Wheel” was reviewed and rated 4.5 stars by Christianity Today. I’d be inclined to agree. Definitely Gullahorn’s best release yet, “Reinventing the Wheel” is available at the Jill & Andy Online Superstore. (You can also check out the awesome “Reinventing the Wheel” commercial.)

Well, the calendar still says November, and America hasn’t entered its tryptophan-induced coma yet, but Christianity Today already has their list of the best albums of 2007. Obviously, given the publication’s title, this is skewed to the “Christian music market”, whatever the heck that is, but here’s how the Square Pegs came in on it: [...]
Sure, I disagreed with the last five-star CT review that I read, but I really agree with Christianity Today giving Jeremy’s Recovery five stars. It deserves every one of them. It is still the best new record I have purchased this year, and it vies with The Decemberists’ The Crane Wife and M. Ward’s Post-War [...]
Christianity Today has released their list of the best 12 Christian albums of 2006, and Andy O’s The Morning and Derek’s Mockingbird made the list. Looks like our friends at CT have missed the boat on a key point: they list “Square Peg Alliance” for Andy where they put other artists’ record label information. The [...]
Infuze has reviewed The Morning. Osenga has expertly produced for various artists like Chris Mason, Andrew Peterson, Eric Peters and others, yet he also saves some great work for his own. He also pulled in the talents of longtime friend and fellow former Normal, Cason Cooley, on production as well. The result is an album [...]
The Phantom Tollbooth posted a review of Chris Mason’s Songs One Through Six. Whether by design or serendipity, Songs One Through Six provide us with a concept project that is remarkably linear. The first three songs illustrate the evolution of a terrestrial relationship. Meanwhile, the second three songs describe similar steps in a relationship with [...]
If you are tired of reading about reviews of Andy O’s The Morning … too bad. Andy points us to a review of The Morning over at Suite101, and it’s as fawning as the rest: Speaking of brilliance, the up-tempo rocker “Santa Barbara” burns with Springsteen-like urgency, the B3 simmering beneath the tight groove of [...]
Andy IM’d me just now to point me to Christianity Today‘s review of The Morning: Front man Andrew Osenga carries [The Normals]‘s legacy, independently recording his solo debut Photographs in 2002 before stepping in as lead guitarist for Caedmon’s Call while also keeping busy with studio work and production. Now maybe it’s the kind of [...]
Infuze Magazine has posted a review of Eric Peters’ latest CD, Scarce.
Infuze Magazine has posted a review of Andrew Peterson’s latest CD, Appendix A: Bootlegs & B Sides. You may or may not know that SPA.net’s very own Ron Davis has a Co-Producer credit on the CD.
