I truly consider myself a Square Peg. I don’t seem to fit the mold. I’m 40 years old and have never been married. That is also why I feel quite comfortable with these other Square Pegs. During the day I work as a Corporate Travel Agent for Expedia Corporate Travel. On nights and weekends, I can be found at various concert venues and coffeehouses checking out some of the best independent Christian artists around. I have promoted and supported almost all the Square Peg artists at various times so it makes sense for me to be a part of this. I have also gotten the opportunity to meet all the artists with the exception of Katy and Chris, who I hope to meet soon.
In honor of this new venture, I have written a short story that features an album title by each of the thirteen Square Pegs. See if you can find them all.
A SQUARE PEG STORY
IN THE MORNING OUT IN THE FAR COUNTRY, A MOCKINGBIRD HAS ROOM TO BREATHE. THE LONGING IN HIM IS SCARCE FOR THE CROWDED SPACES. WHY BOTHER WITH FAITH AND HEARTACHE AND RUMORS OF WAR AND PEACE WHEN YOU COULD PUT AWAY ALL YOUR BEST LAID PLANS AND LISTEN TO AM RADIO. AFTER ALL, NOBODY’S GOT IT ALL TOGETHER. THEY MIGHT AS WELL BE THROWING PUNCHES IN THE DARK.
