Hello and welcome to squarepegalliance.net! My name is Chris Hubbs, and I’m a 31-year-old father of two little girls (Laura and Addison), husband of one (Becky), from Hiawatha, Iowa.
In my day job, I’m a software lead for Rockwell Collins. In the evenings and weekends, I lead worship and am an elder at Imago Christi Church, and also administer a bunch of websites.
I am a voracious reader, love to play piano and guitar, play church league softball in the summers, and spend time with my family. I help out with squarepegalliance.net because I secretly want to take over the world and think that Andrew Osenga’s pedalboard will play a vital role in my efforts.

The aforementioned Andy Osenga and Jill Phillips are members, as well as other artists I write about here from time to time, like Randall Goodgame, Andrew Peterson, Andy Gullahorn, Derek Webb, and Sandra McCracken. Their website isn’t much yet, but the fan website over at squarepegalliance.net is up and kicking. I am actually on staff for the website, but I’m afraid I haven’t done a whole lot with it yet… [...]

[...] What does this mean for you? Well, for one, every SPA show I attend is something I’ll record. I’ll seed them all on IndieRiver. I’ve already got Andrew Osenga’s CD release show for The Morning online in case you weren’t able to attend that [although since Chris drove in from Iowa, I don’t think you have any excuses. ] I’ll try to have MPJ’s set from that night up soon.
