So, Eric has been writing more about his next record: about how he’s having Ben play some acoustic guitar parts, and how unlike with most records, they’re tracking acoustic guitars first. Part of that is because of wanting to be frugal with the budget—and, as a reminder, the budget comes from you helping to donate towards the making of the record.
And if you’re tired of all this endless plugging, and instead want some music, well … I recorded the SPA in-the-round show last month where Eric debuted “I Will Go With You”, which he wrote for his son, Ellis:

It’s another short week, but hey, we’ll get ‘em out there.
After way too long, Randall goodgame is comming out with some new music. On Nov. 4th, RG is releasing an EP entitled “Bluebird.” As a special treat you can go to his site and download a free track called “All The Years.” If this track is any indication, this Ep is going to be sweet! But honestly… was there ever any doubt?!?
Do you ever feel like you bit off more than you can chew? That’s how I feel right now. A while back i got the idea that SPA.net needed a podcast. So I set out to make one.
In general, I wanted it to be an informative look into the world of the Square Peg Alliance. With that in mind, each episode will have Square Peg news and will feature and interview with at least one of the SPA folks. Our first episode features an interview with Derek Webb. If you have questions and/or comments, feel free to shoot an email.
I hope it’s not too terrible

And hey, with Christmas approaching … maybe you can tell someone who’s looking for a gift for you that, “Hey, don’t just give me a gift … give one to Eric, too.”
As a reminder, here’s what you get for helping Eric make the record:
- 2 autographed CDs
- 2 tickets to a show near you or in your town
- A photo of you holding those precious CDs posted on my website
- Your name (and thanks) in the album liner notes
I’ve helped make it happen. Have you?
