In the 11/20 edition of 850 Words of Relevant, Derek, in response to a question about how long Mockingbird has been available for free download, said “It’s been up for two months, and we’ve given away just shy of 70k. The attendance at concerts has been really surprising. We’ve had twice the crowds that I would normally have.”.

i was actually sitting on a couch with derek when he hit the refresh button on his Mac laptop and exclaimed “70,000!”. this happened at approximately 9:45pm EST on Novermber 12th. Here’s to hoping that he hits 75,000, just because it’s a nice round number.
