I know that everyone can’t always be driving to Nashville on Tuesday nights—Nashville may not be nearby, and heck, mid-week trips are hard. [Trust me, I know.] This may have you bummed about not making the Gravity|Love release show in Nashville on Tuesday, but if that’s your problem, how about hitting Knoxville on Friday? Convenient to three interstate corridors, a beautiful city [okay, so I'm biased as it's my birthplace], and a great venue in New City.
The lineup will be the same for these shows [and tonight's in Columbia]:
- The lovely Mrs. McCracken
- The affable Mr. McCracken on electric and 12-string acoustic
- The road warrior bass man, Mark Polack
- Mr. “Congas in My Monitors” Garett Buell
So, if you can’t make Nashville on Tuesday, hit up Knoxville tomorrow. You’ll have a blast either way!

It would be worth whatever drive is involved (especially since you should be able to have a catch-up nap on Sat.). I saw them in Columbia last night & am seriously contemplating trekking to Charlotte for Sat. night.
Great music.
Great band.
Great experience.
