My site logger tells me that a lof of you have been checking out our still-being-built Square Peg Discography, but I do want to point all of you to it. It’s designed to be a jumping off point for you to get to know more about the Square Pegs. Chances are that you know some but not all of the Pegs, and all this hullabaloo about the Pegs has you wanting to know more about some of the rest of the guys. [I know that this has even been the case with me, and I had seen most all of the pegs play live prior to us starting SPA.net.]
Understand that, whenever we can, we try to point you to places endorsed by the artists themselves for purchasing the album. We don’t get cuts off of the sales—Ron, Bryan, and I were very clear in the formation of SquarePegAlliance.net that we want no part of the business side of the Pegs. That’s totally their thing—we’re just here to support them in any way we know.
So keep an eye out on that Square Peg Discography: It’s always growing and changing. And big ups to Chris Hubbs for all the hard work he’s been doing on it. He’s a warrior: after all, he’s not above driving from Iowa to Nashville to see some Pegs play.
Only six pegs left… and no huge discographies among them… though Sandra’s is growing. Maybe tonight I can knock them out.
What did I tell y’all, folks? A MACHINE!!!
Of course, you’re a married guy and father on business travel. You need something to do with all that free time you don’t normally have.
Well, so much for that. Jeff and Adriene kept me out until 10:45pm! Maybe tomorrow… or this weekend…
Any plans of a SPA store so we can buy, say, the New Sandra, Jill, Andrew O and, perhaps Billy’s first album without having to go to four different websites?
Gino: I’m sure that it’s something that the Pegs have discussed, but … we stay out of the business side of it all. We’re just a community of friends supporting a community of friends.
The discography is done. Now I’m getting on a plane to head back home to Iowa.
Wow. Great work, Chris.
