Infuze Magazine has posted a review of Andrew Peterson’s latest CD, Appendix A: Bootlegs & B Sides. You may or may not know that SPA.net’s very own Ron Davis has a Co-Producer credit on the CD.
As Chris noted, not only is The Morning out, but a new mastering of Photographs is available as well. I have my hands on both [thanks, Andy!], and I’m incredibly excited, as you should be.
If you’re wondering what the re-mastering adds for all of us who are blessed enough to own Photographs already, Andy has included two new tracks: an acoustic rendering of “The High School Band” which is reminiscent of what you’ve heard Andy play live, and a “late night piano” version of “New Mexico”. As Andy’s said before, the awesome Matt Odmark mastered Photographs.
Andy let us know pictorially this afternoon that The Morning and the new edition of Photographs have arrived and are ready to be shipped out. We can only imagine that they will be shipping out very soon.
Bryan, Mark, Ron, and I can’t run this place alone. Back in March, we put out a call for folks who were interested in helping us out. We got a bunch of great responses, and we culled the group down to nine folks who we think will be a lot of help to us as we go forward. They are:
- Brandy Campbell
- Jeff Holland
- Chris Hubbs
- Curt McLey
- Brad Morris
- Rick Starr
- Mark Traphagen
- Hannah Faith Walden
- Shane Werlinger
Drop by their about pages to get to know them a little better. ![]()
Andy O wants some help in spreading the “single” he has from The Morning around the Internet. He’s offering it via MP3 for free from AndrewOsenga.com, and gives you the HTML to do it. You could be nice and use his HTML but upload your copy of the image, as we’ve done here on SquarePegAlliance.net—no need to burn up Andy’s bandwidth, y’know? But if your brow wrinkles at that, you can use Andy’s HTML or, well, ours below [because we have lots more bandwidth to abuse than Andy does]:

As we promised we would, we’re taking a moment tonight to let you know that KatyBowser.com is now alive and well again, and that’s where you can pre-order All of My Friends, Katy’s upcoming EP. Astute readers will also note that the release date has been finalized: June 30th.
Andy lets us know that the CD manufacturer is behind. The latest ETA for The Morning is “mid-next-week”, i.e. somewhere around May 24th.
Hang on, folks, it is coming…
Jill Phillips’ newest CD Nobody’s Got It All Together releases May 30. You can listen to sound clips here, and then go pre-order it here.
NGIAT features 11 tracks including “Square Peg,” “The Middle,” and “By A Thread.” The single “By A Thread” can be heard at Jill’s MySpace page.
Jill was also recently interviewed by Andy Gullahorn. The interview is a fun read and gives some great insight to the new CD.
Fresh off the heels of The Builder and the Architect, rumor has it that Sandra McCracken is aiming for an August 29th, 2006 release date for her next studio project. ![]()
The disc cover art, entitled Gravity|Love, was designed by Jordan Brooke.
The back cover art reveals 11 tracks on the record, including fan favorite “Chattanooga” and current MySpace single “Head over Heel”. In addition, the graphic names Peter Collins (Best Laid Plans) as producer, and gives co-writing credit for the song “Goodbye George” to youngest Hanson brother, Zac.
Andy writes to let us know that The Morning will be a little longer in coming just yet:
It’s looking like I’ll get them in this next week, but not in time to get them to you on Tuesday. I’ll keep everybody posted and you’ll know as soon as I hear anymore.
We’ll let you know when there’s more word!
